Special Olympics Barrie has been very lucky and grateful to have the community support within Barrie.  This has allowed the athletes to participate and enjoy various experiences, excelling in their chosen sports, and exceeding their own expectations. These contributions go a long way in supporting all programs that provide training and competition opportunities to the more than 200 registered athletes in Barrie.

Your generosity will make a life-changing difference.  Thank you to everyone who has organized and participated in our fund-raising events. 

With your support, more people will have that opportunities  to strive and succeed. All of the funds raised for the  Barrie Special Olympics will go towards supporting the athletes.

A service club is a voluntary non-profit organization that helps make our community better.

Members provide many opportunities for either community awareness or fundraising initiatives

Barrie's Charity Bingo

Corporate Sponsor

Corporate organizations strive towards partnership with Special Olympics to raise funds and promote community awareness.

Police Services:

 Community based, province-wide event that sees the "Flame of Hope" carried across Ontario  by members of Law  Enforcement agencies from across the province. All funds raised through Ontario  Law Enforcement Torch Run events are directed into program support that directly affects all community  Special Olympic Ontario (SOO) programs.  Funds are then put into community programs and help pay for various expenses including: games travel, accommodations, meals, staff support to the field, grants to new community programs, volunteer and athlete training, administration and information/promotional materials and development initiatives like the 'School Program' which opens up opportunities to new athletes.  It's important to have one provincial fundraiser that helps SOO create an "equitable" playing field.  At SOO, small programs, large programs, big cities and small communities are  treated with the same level of importance.  The development of Special Olympics Ontario is directly related to the success of the Torch Run.
