Welcome to SOO-Barrie!

We are the local level of Special Olympics Ontario, which is part of a dynamic world-wide, not-for-profit organization, dedicated to promoting a more active and better quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities, through their involvement in sports.

The Barrie Community Special Olympics provides year round athletic programs for over 200 athletes in 13 different sports, locally.

Over 125 volunteers and coaches donate their time and effort. All of the funds raised for the Barrie Community Special Olympics go towards supporting the athletes.
